Chinese delegation visits Qatar development
The Chinese deputy director general of the Department of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation has paid a visit to the Sabban Towers property development next to the Porto Arabia marina in Qatar.
Underlining China's support for Qatar's burgeoning property sector, Da Jiaxiang saw that the construction of the luxury residential apartments and penthouses was on schedule, with 60 per cent of the piling work now complete.
Mr Jiaxiang also visited Lifestyle Homes & Properties, the sales office responsible for the marketing and sales of the accommodation offered by the tri-tower complex.
The site stretches for 19,692 square metres in total, with 6,115 square metres set aside for leisure activities, including spas, squash courts, swimming pools and tennis courts.
John Browne, Sabban's managing director, said: "China has a crucial role to play in the development of Qatar's real estate and property market, as Chinese construction companies are involved in some of the biggest projects that are coming up across the country," according to AME Info.
